I really like your quilt,but you made me feel better too. I'm trying to quilt my first twin size on my DSM and having a hard time. I already gave up on the cable stitch,glad I did, but sad about that.I think my next one going to be quilt as you go. Or how about 4 laps together. Utmost admiration, I second that!

Well, thanks! Quilting on a DSM is not easy, is it? Wrestling that quilt around in and out of that arm was a nightmare at times but I kept telling myself that others have done it and I could, too. Also told myself that the Brother 450Q is marketed as a "quilting" machine so it must be possible! I'm now sandwiching an even larger quilt -- about 80 x 80 -- and I intend to try again, using STID and that curved stitch I used in the border of the Dogs at the Beach quilt.
