Your bookmarks are really a wonderful idea. My granddaughter likes to make gifts and think this is one she could do!

I love your bookmarks and I know your students do as well. I also enjoy making bookmarks with scraps.
One idea for you is to use a pinking rotary blade to cut the fabric out. Next make a quilt sandwich and top stitch around . You can also quilt down the center and catch a ribbon loop at the top for decoration.

Thanks for sharing. Oh by the way.. I like your metal grommet at the top of the bookmarks where the string goes. Can you please tell me how you did that? Thanks bunches.
