Its gorgeous! You should be sooo proud! Would you tell us the name of the book? I searched the internet for "Ice Crystal" quilt pattern and also I C quilt book. It brings up other patterns that are not nearly as pretty. Thanks.

For those who have asked:

The book is called Plentiful Possibilities A Timeless Treasury of 16 Terrific Quilts by Lynda Milligan and Nancy Smith C&T Publishing ISBN 1-57120-214-5 published in 2003. I found it in a St Joseph's Thrift Store for 50 cents

Someone also asked how many 1/2 square triangles were in the quilt and 1200 seems to ring a bell

I used a collection of fabric from Connecting Threads called Shimmering Frost - there wasn't a big selection when I went to get extra fabrics for the pillowcases and I ordered the 108 inches used for backing. I didn't use the CT fabric but found a great Robert Kaufman at $ 2.49 a yard in the flat fold section - in Anaheim at M & L's.

Thanks for all the compliments!

That is a gorgeous quilt. I'm sure that it will be enjoyed for many years by the lucky young couple who you gave it to!
