I love both of them. Those lucky recipients. I would have thought they were both the same. But if I understood correctly, the one for your daughter was from the pattern and the one for your sister was the sweatshirt one. I thought I read somewhere to use a certain batting for garments. could it be the silk?? I'm not sure where I had read something about the batting, but I wish I had saved the info. But both of these are beautiful and did you also make the gorgeous bag that your sister is carrying?? Love that too!!

Yes, made the bag from leftover fabrics and did the embroidery on my embroidery machine for the outside pocket, was all fun.
