The individual blocks are sometimes called bow ties. That being said, bow tie blocks can be pieced a billion ways to create additional patterns.

A lady at our church died recently. Among her belongings she had a sack with a double knit top completed that she intended to do for her grandson. A few of our ladies finished it up for the young man. I was surprised to find several pieces of green/orange/white or beige pieces. Love the combo. I'd never have though of those two colors together. Three different fabrics in varying shades of green.

Very, very pretty quilt! Recently finished my first ever batik quilt...loved sewing with batiks, they're wonderful!

i would make a flange of the orange and use the darkest green for the binding! i love it!
