Very pretty, looks like all florals with black. I've been saving florals for a log cabin, but I have far more than I will need for that so I'm looking for additional patterns to use with them. This is very nice.

I just bought this pattern. I like the strippy version and I noticed she mentions precut strips. I was wondering if you made yours with the strips or without. I'd be doing mine without .The Asian fabrics are stunning. LOVELY. Thank you.

Ladyjanedoe - I did use strips but not from precuts. I just used a lot of my scraps and cut the pieces individually and added a few strips from my stash to make enough. I have also made the same pattern using animal skin prints instead of florals and that is very stunning. I'll try to post a pic of that one later. I have also done it with just random scraps (mostly bright colors) and still want to do one in red, white and blue. The one I posted is the child's size and to me is a large lap size. It is not listed on the pattern but I made several even smaller using just 9 blocks which comes out a large baby size.
