    There is plenty of contrast to my eye. You have a light, medium and dark...........can't ask for a more workable combination. It looks really nice and I hope you will post the finished picture!

    Nope-- don't change any thing. My MIL done this pattern in greys and black also. She went and changed the black to red and the only one that liked it was her cat.She went and re-bought her fabrics and stuck to the original plan. Her quilt was auctioned off and brought in a whopping $500 for the Women and Children's Shelter
