Default Bought a new Pfaff quilt expressions 4.2

It works like a dream. One of my old Pfaff's died completely. I still use my Pfaff 1475, but need to loan that machine to my granddaughter. I can also quilt on the new one. Fun, fun, Fun.

I'm glad you are enjoying your new machine. I love the 1/4" foot with a guide on my QE 4.0.

I have a Phaff Expression 4.2 on hold and will pick it up in July. I have a 2.0 currently and am trading/upgrading to the new one. Got it for a great price! Can't wait to start using it. I started sewing on my Grandma's treadle machine when I was about 5 and then my mom got a Phaff with cams> Wow what it could do with all those fance stitches! She was still using it when s he passed away in De. of 2008 - that would make it about 6o years old. We gave it to the girl next door to her and she is still using it! I also have a little Black Bernina that I use tjo go to classes, etc. and I just got a new serger - a Bernina 1300. Love it. does anyone else use a serger? I also have a Singer serger (HU35 I think) and a Singer touch & sew that I love but am looking to sell as they are older but still run great.
For my birthday, my girlfriend found me a Featherweight 221. Price was unbelievable so of course I got it.

I have the 4.0 and was thinking about upgrading to the 4.2 , would it be worth it?
