The center went together well, problem came when adding the inner border with the appliqued flowers. I measured wrong (!) and not enough fabric to start over, so I figure no problem I'd alter the flower petals to fit, for some reason that gave me a few problems. Once I had the flowers on (all hand sewn) I decided to starch it good.....then it happened....the center blocks all puckered up and wouldn't lie flat! I worked on it off and on for days and finally got some improvement. So I went ahead and added the final charm border and I called it quits! I hoped it wasn't so wavy that it couldn't be quilted out. So I went ahead and sent it off to my LAQ to see what could be done.
I was NOT disappointed! I am more than pleased with the outcome!
I named it"Raspberry Blossoms"
(fabrics are Beach House by Robyn Pandolph)
