When paper piecing, especially with tiny pieces, Elmers or Glue Baste It are essential products, I hope the price doesn't go up, because I would have to pay the increase. Can't sew without it any more

Oh great!! I found 6 bottles in my sewing cupboard. I had no idea. I will use it for binding. I am so thankful for all the information here. I have a question tho. Do you have to iron it or will it stick real quick?

I have never used glue. I have tried using velcro with the glue on the back and then sewing onto my project and the needle really got gooky! what a mess. Does this happen with elmers?

I've basted and bound two quilts and pieced another using Elmer's and Sharon Schamber's binding tutorial. I'm a convert!

This could be a first for me.. how do you baste with the glue. I have 2 baby quilts, which will be the first attempt at quilting on my DSM and would love to avoid the pins etc. So an explanation would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Has anyone made a mix of Elmer's washable glue and water to make a spray glue. I have used the the glue full strength and sometimes I get it a it thick and it makes a mess.
