I have to say this month's fabric that everyone has been showing have made me have a new outlook on the 30's. I just love them now I find myself looking at the 30's print at the local quilt shops .

I just can't stop myself from sharing with everyone, but I just won some beautiful fabric from sew4home giveaway
the fabric is from free spirt designer is Marjolien bastin and I can't wait to get them. I am not sure if I get the full FQ's collection or the yardage . thank you for letting me share with you all because I am just to excited.

Jane, these are great ideas too. Every one would make a wonderful swap theme.
I have seen a few black and white quilts on the board here that were absolutely striking, and there was one that was black, grey and white, it reminded me of b&w pictures. Before seeing them I had never thought of B&W as a quilt theme, only as accents.
That's another thing I like about this swap, it gets us into new directions or at the very least appreciation for those fabrics we might tend to overlook and see them in a new light.
I also have been noticing Asian fabrics more this past year than before, don't know if they are becoming more prominent or I just started noticing.

Seems like a lot of our participants have been dealing with all kinds of illness, injury, and losses, and a few unexpected things -like mail hanging out in the wrong box as well as the out of town-ness too.

Tonight I will again be including all of you in some prayer time.

I think it was so cool, that both the people I sent to, were the people who sent to me
