I kind of forgot about the thread... sorry
I am working on Melinda's center/border right now and hopefully will have pictures by the end of the weekend and ready to mail by Monday. I've got about 20 projects running at once and I'm trying to get them all done by next weekend before school starts.
Waaa I'm whining about it... I need some more days before school starts.

Oh dear school and at your age too! ancient momma is teaching. They are going to love you Kelly. I always preferred the younger teachers they were a tad more in touch with the kids and new techniques make it a bit more.. fun? to learn. lucky kids. My math teachers in high school were ancient old coots. not fun at all.
I was so happy to get the round for the hummingbirds from you Kelly. the fabric is beautiful and I can't wait to play with it. hope you put a note in there with wishes and wants on it..

Ladies, in this swap you can put a quilt "on point" in the either of the first two rounds (as Melinda did for Round 1 of Lana's center). After Round 2 on a center you can only add the size of that round.
Putting a quilt on point only adds about 1" to the center size but it does give the illusion that it is much bigger.

And as a reminder - per the swap guidelines:
Round 2 = 6" (or on point)
Round 3 = 4"
Round 4 = 6"
Round 5 = 4"
For this swap there is no Round 6 (though I put one in the guidelines - oops)

Probably not.. but I think I'm going to put it into the state fair next year as a "group project" entry. I need to get some signature block / label plans figured out to make sure everyone gets credit. I think I'm probably going to also include images taken at/after each round to document how it was made.
