Just consider it mental agility training..... Tee-Hee! Count your blessings. You can still calculate, measure, drive, cut, wash and discover your errors and still smile.

I went out and bought more fabric for binding. Came home and discovered I had already sewed the binding on the quilt. Oh well, the fabric will just go into another kid's quilt.

Thank you, SS gal for posting this. I can't begin to espress my thanks as I have traveled this road so many times and thought I was alone. I feel much more comfortable now that I know I am in such good company!

Somedays my brain just refuses to work on quilt projects. Those days I pour myself a glass of red wine and drag out a few of the quilt magazines in my stash and just enjoy the photos.

I love all your responses. Got quite a few chuckles out of them. We all must be sisters or at least cousins. Happy day today whatever you do.

I've done similarly, cutting blocks. Too few, so cut more . . . and then realize I not only originally had enough, but also a few extra. Yep, time for a break!

I've also sewed the wrong seams together, ripped them out, then re-sewed the same way. <sigh>
