I love the picture of the avatar-What is the name of it and is there a current pattern for it? So striking!

    Both are GORGEOUS!

I'm about to start a "Storm at Sea" in black red and white for a wedding gift for a very special couple. I would really appreciate any special advice you might have for me before I start.

Your Storm at Sea will looking stunning in that colour combination.

The only advice I could give anyone embarking on this is to allow lots of time, foundation piece if possible - and most importantly keep smiling. Those pesky little points and all that sewing are bound to get you down in the dumps somewhere along the line but hopefully the light at the end of the tunnel won't belong to the oncoming train!!!! Good luck with yours. Look forward to seeing pics of it.
