    Lovely. But I thought a wholecloth was a whole piece of fabric without any seams, thus the name WholeCloth? Maybe I am wrong!

    Oh my goodness, amazing! I didn't dare look at the pictures until I read every word of your story. Just seeing that you have a new post is exciting and the excitement is always far exceeded by your quilting. You make a story out of a quilt top and this one seems alive in its own world. I hope to someday make a top that I think is worthy of your talents.

    yes WholeCloth usually is just a whole piece, but, after seeing one Charisma had pieced and had a friend quilt as a wholecloth, my daughter fell in love and wanted one ....it is unique....

    It's beautiful and a work of art. Do you mark the complete quilt before putting it on the frame? If so, do you use a quilt marker or chalk?
