In Alabama, like Florida, when the humidity is 90 % or more its hard to quilt in the heat!! Looking forward to cooler weather!! Lol.

I have a lot of UFO's. Some are ready to quilt, some need to be finished piecing. I have made a rule for myself this year. I have to finish 2 UFO's before I let myself start something new. I have done pretty well. To finish all 15 of your UFO's before you start anything new is too harsh on yourself. Try to finish a couple then something new. Good luck. My UFO pile is getting a lot smaller. :-)

I love the piecing and I don't mind the quilting - but I HATE sandwiching the quilt for some reason. If we hadn't moved 3 years ago I may have done more quilts as I have a friend who is willing to help me sandwich quilts. Guess we'll just have to set a day aside to get together to sandwich quilts. It's so much easier with someone else to help and the table space to spread the quilts out. Unfortunately, when we moved I had to give up my very large former dining room table which was a great size to sandwich quilts. Oh well.

As far as the backs, I have pieced the backs with the massive amount of fabric I have. That way when it is done, you have a reversible quilt.
