I got 2 from them 2. I have called. DH has been trying to get through. I have told them, "I order directly through the Magazine. AND WHY would I pay them 2 and 3X the price to order through them!!!!!!!!!!!"
Thanks for sharing this, I didn't think I was the only 1.

I stopped all magazine subscriptions several years ago. All said when I took out the first subscription that it is automatically renewed every year. I no it isn't. These were big name companies, not quilting magazines. Like I said, this was several years ago. I don't have time to read, other than local newspaper and quilt books I already have. One Magazine BH, use to send me renewal notices a couple times a year. When I finally took time to read the label I discovered I was paid up for about five years. I stopped that one too.

J quit all magazine subscriptions a long time ago as they would bill me a long time in advance I would pay then later get another bill that my magazine was about to expire and forget that I had paid them much earlier and did end up with long term on magazines so I just quit if I see something in a magazine I want I buy it as they stack up to fast anyway you are right more free patterns than I can use on the internet

I got one of those just a few days ago. I'm not even sure I subscribed to the magazine the bill was for but had earlier decided not to renew any subscriptions so into the trash it went. Thanks for the warning; I thought the magazine just turned its billing over to an outside company.

I was really getting frustrated with the subscriptions, seems I just signed up and paid online for a magazine, got 1 then have been getting bills ever since to renew. I got a years subscription. I was thinking the same thing, just not do subscriptions anymore, just buy them at the market. Never thought they were a fraud, now I guess I am glad I did not pay anymore on the US mail renewals I have recieved. Thanks for the heads up.

I received four of them within two days. I tear them up when they arrive.

My DH accidentally paid one of these and it was the dickens getting my money back, ended up paying some sort of fee for handling. About $19.00. Don't get ripped off!

I got burned like that a couple times, also, but my bank has a service that I use online so this won't happen again. It is Bank of America and the service is Shop Safe, in which I get a one-time number that ties to my credit card in the background without the merchant's knowledge. I set an amount and a number of months it is good for. I can get as many of these Shop Safe numbers as I want with no charge. Then when they send e-mails saying the credit card they have isn't working for my renewal (not ordered) I can ignore them.
