If I'm any judge of my character it'll be with some sort of intervention... probably like this

My wife learned to sew and sew well in parochial high school. Apparently it's a skill people no longer need as it seems fewer people have it. Do they still teach it in schools? I know "Shop Class" for boys is all but a thing of the past. Probably deemed too dangerous - what with the real tools and all.
They no longer teach sewing at the school district where my DH teaches. Such a loss. Public school is where I learned to sew because no one in my family sewed.

Maybe just one more... not in hand, but available where I'm going next week.

Lew.....nice machines!!
I noticed the binder clip attached to the front of the Kenmore. What is that for? Thinking it may be some sort of addition to the ease of sewing

That's my wife's daily driver. She put the binder clip on the reverse lever to make it easier to grab and turn.

There is a group on Yahoo called SewItsForSale. Just go and sign up and then you can ask there if anyone has these cams. Usually much better price can be obtained. Good luck!
