I can relate, although after years of collecting batik fabrics for a Boston Commons quilt, I haven't even started on it and have a few too many to finish before I start. Great fabrics though, even the ones you rejected.

Fantastic! Can't wait to see it done? What is the name of the quilt pattern? I am always looking for new techniques and patterns,

Your quilt will be gorgeous; can't wait to see it finished!

And just think, you already have a start on another diamond quilt!

It is going to be gorgeous when finished. Looks like you'll have enough left over for a scrappy diamond quilt, too.

Wow it is just like under the sea. I went crazy with a polka dot quilt. I thought your original fabrics were beautiful too. Can't wait to see it all done.

Thanks so much for all of the comments. I do plan to use the extra fabric - just not sure how yet. I've spent way too much to forget about it.

Oops I forgot to give credit where it is due. I got the idea from author Jan Krentz' book Diamond Quilts & Beyond found at www.jankrentz.com/index.php.

Thanks again!!
