Well I ran away for a long weekend to enjoy the fall colors and a shop hop! I went to five of eight stores today. I'll hit the remaining three this weekend. I'm finding all sorts of fun stuff but I don't know what my SS wants so struggling to find just the right things. I hope she'll be pleased.

Well made it through the field trip today with a single whine out of the kids in my sons class. They were excellent and the trip was great. Got to get more stuff for my SS and all the items needed to make my ornaments for another swap and still have extra for my SS. Now just to sit down and get them all done. Havent done these kind yet and they say that they take awhile. I know what I am going to be doing all weekend. Hope they turn out okay.

Now back to the whole to have fun and work on those goodies. Dreamer, I'm back and I didnt break curfew. LOL Oh, I also have snacks for all. Cookies, Cake, Donuts, and Candy.

Secret Santa I printed out your list ,then I went shopping , and got you a couple of Holiday gifts from a local boutique shop that was having a open house . I also got your 4 requested FQ from my local quilt shop. I will get 1 more item from your wish list, that I think you will be very happy with. I will also make you something. I am going to send a few things from my stash that I hope you enjoy .Working hard to stay within budget!

I've done much better at staying within my budget this year. I got my fat quarters and I still have a good deal of money left. I was able to pulled a bit from my stash to share with you from your idea list. I am still pondering your must have item. It may put me over budget. I have just a bit longer to think on it. Will make a decision soon. My must sew list is done. So can't wait to get to secret Santa sewing! The fun begins now.:-)

My order came this afternoon....isn't it just so wonderful to open a box of new fabric?
I now have my fat quarters for my giftee....I like them...hope she does, too...

(my adorable furbaby (avatar) is snoring with indifferance to the new fabric)

Staying within the guidelines of 4 Fat Quarters and a gift(s) NOT to exceed $20 is manageable. It can be tough if there are not enough things to choose from on the wish list. Adding Hand made items and things from your stash can really make the gift.
