I am about through with my dq and will be sending it soon.
Just a note to everyone
We could go all day about lights, you/me light of the world which we are. But whenever I see or hear that, my mind always goes to the song of the Light house. I guess that’s why I love to see all those lighthouses and all. We are to be lighthouses too. Wow, can you just imagine, this old lamp, cleaned up, trimmed, and to light the world. Just that one candle eliminates the darkness. Let your light so shine!

Is there extra embellishing on the backing fabric on the dq you made for cuppy? Or is that the fabric only? Either way' it's amazing! The front, too! How great she got it for her birthday, too...Happy late Birthday, cuppy!!!

No worries, I am not a bit worried about the dq you are making me...we have several days still, so don't stress! I have yours layered, thinking I am going to quilt at least some parts of it with a metallic thread..have to capture the glowing aspects.

Happy Belated Birthday Cuppy. That birthday DQ is amazing !
Doing the HAPPY DANCE here - my purple mood has lifted and I now have emc118's DQ top done and ready to quilt so I am tickled pink....there is a couple of clues there about the quilt, can you guess them LOL LOL
My second attempt went a little better than the first but still had plenty of unpicking to do along the way. Not sure that the seam ripper is going to be able to part with the DQ, might have to send it along too
