Okay, now I am more determined then ever to find the punch needle tool! I have tried Michaels but they don't have it. Does anyone know of a good source to order it from Canada on the net?

I did counted cross stitch for years, and have hundreds of skeins of floss. I can always find the perfect color of floss that matches my binding; I've been using floss to hand sew the bindings to the back of my quilts quilt for twelve years. I use two strands of floss.

I was told floss will get brittle with age and use so I wouldn't put it in a quilt that you want to be used and lasting. My mother's embroidery pillowslips, I noticed the stitches breaking. I cut the embroidery designs out and framed them for my granddaughter's bedroom.
