Gladdie: it is so cute, and absolutely beautiful. I like how a lot ot the hexies look fussy cut. I also like how your binding makes it look like a second border. How wide is the binding strip, and how do you do a wider binding? Thanks for sharing. I have always liked the look of a hexie quilt, but have never tried it, maybe I'll just have to add it to my bucket list.

Thanks L! Hexies are a great take along or a sit in front of the TV project--so don't just add it to your BL; but do it. Not much of a TV watcher but when I do I enjoy sewing these. The binding was cut 2 1/2" wide and is double fold. I really like to attach my bindings by hand as well. I don't see why you couldn't go wider but the wider the binding I find the harder it is to get that nice crisp corner.

Yeah, I have never been successful at adding a wider binding, the corners never come out right. I'll have to start going through my scraps, and just start, as if I didn't have a million other things to do. lol,, I love it. I'd go crazy without my quilting.
