Daughter's surgery is scheduled for Tuesday. Hubby is sick and not going to be able to go with us to the hospital tomorrow. Her surgery is set for Tuesday AM but since it is out of town we are leaving tomorrow, plus she has pre-op tomorrow as well. Just when I thought he was gong to be able to be there for her and with me, he can't. I am kind bummed. Please add her to your prayer list.

Thank you all my quilting friends

That sounds good to me.

You have to remember, not everyone will be happy with the time, but chatting it over with everyone in the US and outside the US is a good thing. I know it sucks when people are left out because of the time change, but is there really any GOOD time that works for each and every person?

Just let me know if this is a FIRM date and time and I'll put it at the top of the thread.
That sounds like a good time....
Here in CST it would be 3p.m. right?
I may not be here because dh has his first cancer treatment per say... it's an injection to slow the growth... the tumor is inoperable .... so we do what we can and hope for the best ... Praying for a touch from God...

Another Secret Santa hint....I have a plastic embroidery case that is 10"long x 7" wide x 11/2" tall and it has 6 rows that are 1 1/2 x 1 1/2" by 7 inches long FULL of 1 1/2" inch postage stamp sqaures. Because A BIRDIE told me that you have participated in the postage stamp swap and I figured, what a cool way to use up scraps BUT..if you do participate in that swap...you wont have to cut them as they are done already. Are YOU....my secret sana recipiant??

Well good morning all! I guess everyone was busy yesterday getting their last minute things together for their SS boxes. Me? I was busy watching the Nascar race. Boy, 2 races left for the season & it looks like the championship is going to come down to the final lap at Homestead. My boy (Jr.) did come in 2nd to his garage mate, Jimmy Johnson. He's so close to going to Victory Lane! He's had a good season though.

Today's hint: Speaking of Nascar, you're state has a couple of drivers listing your state as their home state.

Hi all! We are one more day gone until opening day. Thirty four to go. I don't have my package yet but there is still lots of time for it to get here.
