Dear Red: It is a wonder he didn't take it and run when he saw it and was visiting with you. That quilt is just gorgeous! Who wouldn't love it! And by the way...good job on the piecing and every part of it, WOW !

someone has probably already told you thisriority mail flat rate boxes are the way to go for quick, relatively inexpensive shipping to alaska- generally less than a week. Parcel post takes about 2-3 weeks. you still have time if you are finished to ship it PP. through the post office. i live in bush alaska and i get stuff within the 3 weeks most of the time, gets a little longer the closer to the holidays you wait.
