Well ....... tomorrow is the day this big heavy package leaves for its long long journey. Im actually worried that ut will be opened up by the post office enroute as ive got it taped so well theres no way it will be opened. I have a choice...leave it as packed in this box, or be kind and unpack it and put it in another box with less tape so that they wont decide to inspect it..

Hey! Don't go blaming us for missing stash. We've only been stalking......ah lurking in the wings of some of the Santas. But if you'd like, we'll gladly drop down & rummage through your stashes & pick out some of our favorites to keep! I'm sure everyone here has something we'd like!! LOL

Well, 2 more days til the end of mailing time. Maybe mines winging its way to my Santaee or not. I know they'll love what I have gotten them, made for them, etc. The box is heavy & fragile, so be careful with it.

We've already seen today's high for the day. Cold front coming in this morning & dropping us down into the 40's. Freeze warnings out for tonight too. Winds are going to make it feel even colder too. I think I'll stay in & do some sewing.

Today's clue: you have "waterfront" property.

It is so beautiful in my neighborhood today. We had freezing rain last night followed by snow this morning. the trees are coated with ice and snow. Its so sparkly and shiny! I love the snow.

I saw on the news the other day a UPS truck flipped over. Everyone was fine no injuries thank goodness but I hope my SS present wasn't in that truck. Oh dear now I'll be worried. When will it get here.

Okay, I am home from the Quilt Expo with three days of classes and vendor booths to pick up some special things for my giftee. Today is wrapping and seeing how big a box I need and off to the post office.

Also when I got home, I had a very heavy flat rate box on my stoop and it said secret santa on it. The waiting begins!

I also have many pages to read to catch up what has been going on.

Ok -- I have a question about the opening day for our SS packages since this is my first SS swap. Is there a process for this event? Do we open our boxes and post pics of everything we got? Is that what happens? Just not sure what is 'expected' at that time. I want to be a team player, just don't know what it is we are supposed to do exactly. Thanks for the insight. -- Stitch124
