You have elevated pot holders to a work of art! I, personally, would never use them. I'm kind of a messy cook. LOL :-))

You sound like my mom. Every year I give her some new potholders I've made and she puts them "away" because they are too pretty to use. haha I told her recently that I would make her some ugly ones if she would just use them!
