I agree! I have friends that would rather cut than piece.

That is the cutter I would recommend for her, especially if she has a table where she can leave it set up and the table is the right height for her. It has plenty of available ties, more than the Go Baby. It is not as heavy as the Studio cutter, nor does it take up as much space. I can easily lift it with no trouble, and I have to be careful about lifting.

GrannieAnnie, try a drop of oil at the base of your handle.
I'll try anything-----------Thanks for the info

Thank you for all your thoughts. She did decide to go ahead and purchase the Go Baby as a Christmas gift to herself. We got a FANTASTIC deal at Joann's after Thanksgiving. I was able to purchase the Go Baby cutter, two dies and two cutting mats for $117.00. The Go Baby was $59.99. She is so excited. I haven't seen her smile in two years, like I have seen her smile just at the thought of sewing again. Her face just lights up. I figured even if her daughter and I have to do all the cutting it will be worth to make her happy again. Thanks again for all your thoughts. If it doesn't work we will return it and try a different project. Will keep you posted on the results.
