*When joining a sashing strip with cornerstone to a block, start with the cornerstone first by 'finger-feeling' the seams so they are locked together under your fingers and placing it under the presser foot while holding it in place and sewing. If the seams butt up to each other and not move, you'll have a perfect match!
If you are having trouble, it's best to do the cornerstone and sashing sewn to individual blocks rather than the whole sashing strip sewn to the row. After some practice, you'll be doing whole strips with cornerstones at once.
