Great quilt and great way to use up those scraps that seem to multiply when we aren't looking.

*When joining the sashing strip to the row, start in the middle of the quilt first working to each end.

*When joining a sashing strip with cornerstone to a block, start with the cornerstone first by 'finger-feeling' the seams so they are locked together under your fingers and placing it under the presser foot while holding it in place and sewing. If the seams butt up to each other and not move, you'll have a perfect match!

If you are having trouble, it's best to do the cornerstone and sashing sewn to individual blocks rather than the whole sashing strip sewn to the row. After some practice, you'll be doing whole strips with cornerstones at once.

Thank you, cherrio!! I hope this helps you get the cornerstones on better. It takes some practice!

No wonder I haven't been able to find the pattern.
I saw your first photo and loved it.
I've been searching everywhere online for the pattern.
Thanks for clearing that up for me.
