We are back, and it is just a really ugly bruise. I never take chances with DH, since he takes Coumadin.

Oh goody! Time to open!

Here are the pics of all the wonderful items I got from Dedemac. Please have some patience as there are alot of pics to go with it. She sent tons of stuff and all of it is so great. Dedemac I will most likely be getting started on those books tonight and may be able to finish most of them if this storm continues as they predict. Calling for an inch of ice on top of the 8 inches of snow we have so far. Looks like lights out for us here, good thing we have a generator. Anyway here are the goodies, I can't wait to start reading.

I think I got pics of it all. So much of it that I lost track. LOL As you can see Dedemac really set me up good. I would list it all but then we will be here for a while. Dedemac the machine cover does fit, thank you so much. I imagine that both the boys and I will be using it but of course me mostly since its on my main machine. I will share with them though. Thanks so much again. Now off to fix some dinner, plan our day to use all those seasonings for the game we get and then I do believe I am going to start on the Quilters Apprentice Book I got. Thanks again.

Here's what I got!
I got two wonderful quilt books, both just perfect! I'm already in love with them both! There's the cutest mug rug, new pins and a magnetic pin holder (both of which I always seem to be needing), a cute note/list pad, a set of GORGEOUS batiks (my first batiks, ever!) . . . and to-die-for chocolate! It's almost scary. . . because not only did my SS send Dark Chocolate w/Raspberry, which happens to be my all-time favorite chocolate combination . . . but she also send Dark Chocolate w/Sea Salt & Almonds, which I've almost bought several times but didn't, then wished I had! Did I mention they're both DARK chocolate??? Mmmmmmmmmmmm!!! THEN there's the cutest little peppermint tree ornament! TOOOOO cute!!!
I hope I didn't forget to mention anything . . . there's just so much!

Look at all the fabric, I received!!! They're all so neatly cut and coordinated, in stacks! I've spread them, to show the variety. . . but there are many layers of what you see. My SS sent me a BUNCH of squares, all ready to sew together! There are I Spy squares and Shabby Chic-ish squares, along with a bunch of just generally beautiful ones! Am I spoiled or what?

Thank you so much, Secret Santa! Please tell me who you are!!!

It has taken me a while because my sister in law called in the middle of opening my box of wonderful goodies. But, Here is the list of goodies I got from Nelco.

Thank you Nelco for everything. I don't know how you did it but you got me everything I loved and wanted. The box has a java gems table runner kit, Dresden flower patch pattern with the charms to make it, the Chili Queen novel with a darling handmade beed bookmark, a cute little metal box called studio stash with 1 1/2" fabric charms inside, a handmade bead stiletto for sewing, a calendar/daily planner with it's own pen, a magnetic pin picker upper, a bunny quilt pattern, a luggage tag kit, flower appliqué kit, tape measure, needle pullers, seam ripper, multi colored mettle thread, beige quilting thread, post it notes, more charm fabric squares, a little fancy red rose bag, fat eight and fat quarter novelty fabrics, lots of chocolate individual candies and tons of jingle bells and a noise maker that drove me crazy wondering what in the World???

I loved opening the treasure trove of goodies! Thanks so very much! Merry Christmas my SS Nelco!

oh my what wonderful beautiful gifts wrapped in fabric. 4 of the gifts were wrapped in Christmas fabric, A gorgeous purse made from Asian fabric of reds/ blacks and touches of green, red and turquoise. Has a fan appliqued on the front and a little tassel. Just beautiful. A beautiful turquoise microfiber kitchen town, 2 microfiber dishcloths. A lovely journal in turquoise stripes. A 3 pack of Fiskars Titanium scissors. A 5". 7" and an 8" these are great some of mine are getting dull. 2 quilting patterns one is Flip Pillows and the other is Sky Dreams (a baby or childs quilt with whimsical planes) The cutest little fabric box for some of my little treasures. Wonderful job on making it and it is in Christmas fabrics. And last but not least, is 2 generous pieces of the most gorgeous fabric from the line "Under the Australian Sun for Robert Kaufman. I have been looking at this line of fabric for a while now but could not afford the price. Now I have 2 beautiful pieces. Also a fabulous piece of Gold and Black (line is Lux) by Timeless Treasures. It is just so perfect.

I want to thank my Secret Santa but there was no card in the box but she lives on Geronomo St. Gilroy CA. So Secret Santa, if you are on here, you sent a beautiful box and I thank you for everything you selected. It was a most perfect Christmas present. So Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Merry Christmas to you and yours this year.
Pat aka homecaregiver
P.S. I will get the pics taken of everything and post so everyone can see my treasures.

Default Thank you Granny of 6!

I just sent Granny - because I don't know her real name - a hearty thank you for the wonderful box of goodies she sent me, she sure packed a bunch of great surprises into a small box! She sent me the most wonderful table runner made out of my favorite civil wars, a packet of new sewing machine needles, ever so thoughtful, some lovely fat quarters so perfect to make a runner for July, a gorgeous piece of gold fabric - I've yet to figure out how much is there but it is a healthy hunk, a nice pattern for a runner, some lovely sticky notes, unlike the plain ol' ones I use, and a fabulous pattern book! I am in quilter's overload!!! And she picked up on all my dogs and cats because she sent me a lint roller that will soon be smoken! Granny really made me thankful I joined in the swap.

Oh, I almost forgot my adorable cardinal pin cushion - I call him a cardinal because he is red and both Granny and I are from Kentucky - home of the Cardinals!

I hope everyone was a fortunate as me to have someone as special to swap with. God bless everyone! Linda
