How about a thin black with a bright cornerstone? Use a black on black for more interest, and scrappy cornerstones. I would not use white since you will never see it....

Just wanted to tell you how great all your scrappy's are. I can understand why your having a problem deciding, literally I think you could do anything and it would be great. Maybe take some other considerations in mind, like what you are going to do about the binding and the back and of course where it will be used.

This is what I had in mind in my other post. Use a color that is not in that block (or one that does not touch the edge of the block) for the "frame", so that none of the HST patterns get lost, and then sash all these frames with white.

P.S. I would really like to see the quilt after it is finished so I can see the rest of the blocks you will be making.

I love your blocks. I like the suggestion of white sashings with various colored corner stones, or a narrow black (or navy blue) for the sashing, no cornerstones.

I agree that color will make those blocks pop. Red, green, orange, blue, purple! What's your favorite color? I think the blocks will look lost floating a sea of white. froggyintexas

I think I would continue with the scrappy theme. Cut the sashing strips to the correct length and just mix them up. I would do likewise with a scrappy binding. Just be sure to cut the binding all at the same angle. It should be beautiful and will make the best use of all of your scraps.

As soon as I saw the picture this was my thought.
