Hello From The Newbie
Hello All . . . I'm Groovy Pieces & I'm glad to be here. Just wanted to say 'Hi' & post all my fabric choices; I promise to be more organized on the next round by have just two fabrics themes. I hope to learn a lot, experience new techniques, & make new friends.

January 2 is the day the final fabrics are scheduled to arrive at my house so we should be beating the deadline by a day for S&E.
In the meantime, be sure to go to the gallery to check that your fabric is there along with any color requests you may wish to add. Often, more detailed instructions will come with the f8s so if in doubt, be sure to rely on the written instructions with the f8s. The gallery is more for ID purposes.

Do you have a link for the gallery? I'm not sure where to look. I looked at your albums, but that was not the right place.

Morning All. . . .Thanks for all your kind words, compliments, & welcoming. It's been a bit rough this past week - my laptop frizzled, sizzled, smoked, & died ! ! ! ! All this happened while Janice & I were working out the details to get me in the swap. It's not fun going to my cousins house to use a computer & trying to get up with everything on my (smart)phone; my keyboard is for short answers only. OOOOhhhhhhhh how nice it is the be on my own laptop & in my groove. Really excited to see what's coming my way. . . . GP

OMG...I can totally sympathize with you. I got a new HP laptop/Windows8 for Christmas. The whole kit and kaboodle looks like greek to me! Needless to say, I'm still plugging away on my old laptop. I don't know if I'll ever figure out what to do with the new one! Why on earth did they have to change everything so much?? I guess it's bad to get old and brain-dead. But..that's me!

Windows 7 and 8 are AWEFUL for us old foagies, LOL. I used to love to get new electronics, now I don't. Sign of the times? Ya think? My desktop has XP, as does all the computers at the office. I am told that by April they will no longer be supported!! At first I thought it was kinda cool how fast things were changing (remember when we were in high school and an electric typewriter was a big dea?) now I just want it to stop. I am tired. Tired of learning. I've had enough already! LOLOLOL
