Wow there are so many beautiful centers and now I'm interested in that Entwined Border also Jenniky!! My center is going to end up being just a tad wider on the right side of my little panel. Hopefully it won't show up and glare at me

Pretty, Mamahen. I like the subtlety of the colors in the first border.

Jabba thanks for the confirmation, yet again.

Thank you all for the wonderful compliments. Now I'm just waiting to see all of yours completed, well not completed we have 5 more months to go, that is if I read it right. I see I'm not the only one that is excited to do something most of us have not done before. I think there are many wonderful centers in the works out there, I'm anxious to see who has chosen which blocks for their first round. This is just "TOO MUCH FUN"!

First round done. But....I was planning to put it on point and now realize that by doing that I am doubling the size of the perimeter and setting myself up for more work next round. If I do leave it on point, I'll spend the next three weeks figuring out what to put in those triangular spaces. Right now it's looking a bit plain and I need to jazz it up with more color.

Here is my center a 12inch block from the quilters cache I liked. The colour isn't that true in this photo the green tiny white dots are really a light shade of blue. I'm thinking I will be able to use lots of clours with this

thanks. For the tip. I have some beautiful cross stitch my DSIL gave me. Saving ideas for the future.

Mamahen. You center and 1st surround is beautiful. The fabrics, including the hand dye are perfect together.

Elisabrat--sorry for throwing all those names at you. I misunderstood about the suggestions you wanted. I really did not understand the book until you started this. It is another of the books that just languish on the shelf until someday the interest gets sparked. Thanks so much for this QAL. I am still working on my center, but progress has been made.
