Yeah, it's called my floor! LOL! I knew how many pieces I needed in each color, and cut several extras. My only real goal was to hopefully not place the same fabric in two touching squares. All of the leftover squares were used in the final outer border, so I didn't really have more than a dozen squares left by the end of this project. It was finished barely 24 hours before everyone came to my house on Christmas Eve. Stayed up until 4:00 AM finishing up the binding.
