What beautiful blocks everyone is making!! I was going great guns, but spent this weekend making a prayer quilt for my sister. She will be starting her treatment by the end of this month and I want to send it to her before then. So I worked on that all weekend. I have 4.5 blocks to go! Will get them done soon. I am waiting to hear what the docs at American Cancer Institue have to say, then will be flying out to be with her for 2 weeks. She will either take her treatment in Portland or Phoenix. Will have answers on the 28th. Seems like this bad "C" is such a waiting game! She is healthy, otherwise, and very positive and energetic and spiritual. All the qualities she will need to beat this thing.

Buslady, I will definitely keep you and your sister in my thoughts and prayers. Her positive attitude will mean everything for her progress with this hated "C" word. Having you there for support will mean so much to her. I'm so glad that you can be with her for a time. Hang tough, both of you.

Bus lady-- as someone who has been through way too many cancer bouts in our family, remember it is ok to cry, and it is strengthening to laugh! My dh was the most positive person ever with pancreatic cancer. He refused to even consider he might die. And he didn't! He has passed the 3 yr mark and is close to the fourth anniversary of his surgery. He is considered cancer free! I hope and pray that your sister will have the same great results! Sending love and hope to all of you!
