However, if you want to machine appliqué, or make quilt labels, or use a decorative stitch for your binding, go with the f600. I have a Brother 1300, comparable to the other 2 Jukis mentioned. I love it and used it as my main machine for 2 years, but it is frustrating having to keep 2 machines for the other stitches.

Those of you who have the Juki 600, would you recommend it to a new quilter. I have looked at several machines and this one seems to have great reviews at a reasonable price!!

I've had the Juki 600 for about a year. I would not buy it if you plan to do a lot of FMQ. The harp size is not that big. It's good for piecing and general sewing. I have the Juki 2010 for FMQ which is a great machine. If I had to replace the Juki 600, I would certainly buy a Janome 6600.

I've had a lot of machines and this is my very favorite... so many nice quilting features.
