Belfry -- Thanks for the pin cushion pattern posting -- wish I could knit. Maybe I can find a way to crochet one.

I received a wonderful pkg from quiltnut( Lillian) today, despite the storm. I love the USPS!
It was chock full of so many goodies....fabric, books, patterns, notions and the cutest little traveling hand work case I've ever seen. Thank you my secret pal

Here you go: https://store-og70x3tp.mybigcommerce...loads/FC79.pdf

I also found this in my files, but unfortunately don't have the web address. I haven't tried the pattern, but it would make a bit larger one than the link above.

how to do it:<o></o>

I used worsted weight yarn and a US7 hook (but I’m sure a G/6 would be fine).<o></o>
Using hdc stitches, you’re going to make 4 different sized rectangles. They are each begun by chaining 21 and making hdcs across.<o></o>
The first one made is the center one (my light blue). I did 10 rows. The second one, my coral, is 12 rows. The third one (my gray) is 14 rows, and the last (red) one is 16 rows. Leave long tails for sewing.<o></o>
To assemble, sew each rectangle together so that each one makes a tube. Do this by sewing the bottom chain edge to the top row’s edge. Now you should have four tubes of varying widths. Take each tube and roll the top edge down so that the top and bottom edges are even. As you can see, the rolled edge faces up, and you just put the smaller ones inside the larger ones. If you want, you can sew the edges on the bottom together to make it more secure, but I didn’t need to.

I received my package from bullock2us yesterday. I''m so sorry I couldn't mail because my PC is in a coma :-((. So I\
I''m at the library now but that's why I can't post a picture. And that's a shame, because it's such a great package, I still can't stop smiling.
A lovely magazine, with 3 patterns I really want to make, a wedge ruler, which
was my big wish and I allready had been to 3 quiltshops that didn't have any, a cute tissue holder made with owl fabric ( I collect owls), a moda mini charms pack that goes so great with my other mini charms. hot chocolat and a Idaho Huckleberrie (if |I remember correctly.
So when I got home yesterday afternoon after my 1,5 hr walk with doggie in the woods (temp around freezing) I made a cup of hot mint-cocoa, with the chocolat huckleberrie and could even whipe my dripping nose with a real american kleenex LOL.

Thank you so so much, it's a fantastic surprise and I love everything. I did take pictures and will put them here asap.

I just hope my SP gets her package soon too, because tomorrow it's already 2 weeks since I send it, so it should arrive by now I thin k.
