Very nice. So proud of you for hand quilting it. Perfect finish to a handmade quilt!

What a charming quilt. In the 80s I anticipated and devoured Hershner's monthly catalog like it was a cliffhanger serial. I remember this quilt vividly and remember wondering who would have the skill and patience to undertake this project. It's a wonderful surprise to know someone who did. And it was worth the effort. Absolutely lovely. I would love to see closeups of the needlework.

What a treasure! I can't imagine the number of hours that went into this creation, between the quilting and the cross stitching. It is beautiful.

The quilt is absolutely gorgeous and I have no doubt that you were an experienced hand quilter by the time you finished. It looks beautiful on your bed.
