Ok, the block i made is 16 hst. They are done in two sets of 8, sewed in a zigzag then cut apart. Magic! Except i think i ended up with twice as many biases as I should have , or I'm just not totally with it! One or both could be true! Perhaps I will try it one more time.....
I used to be afraid of stars and i was told by a wise quilter, they are only hst's. I like hst! Or at least i used to!
Love my new block. Everyone seems to do mine last, which is fine. I am having fun discovering which fabric went to which boomer! I'm really looking forward to this scrappy happy quilt!

Finished mine on Saturday. Need to get them into an envelope and to the PO one day this week. It was a lot of fun, and I am ready to start on my Slow and Easy group!!! Can't wait to see all the blocks together!! Here are some pictures.
Moonrise, your quilt will be gorgeous! I love the color palet. NanaKathy, that block is the "five minute block", I stitched it down so your toe don't get caught!! LOL DiFergie, your fabric is so much like mine, those packed flowers are great. I wanted to show off that big rose. Abby's mom, I had one strip left that was about 1/2" wide by 6" long!!! Nancia, I was not all that thrilled with the first block I made for you, so I did a remake of it! Hope you like this one as much as I do. Hope everyone likes them!
