I also would like to see the fancy pins some of you are making. I have not made any fancy ones.
Here are some of the hatpins I've made years ago. I haven't done any jewelry making since I moved here but I'm going to make some stickpins too

What a neat way to display them...in a salt shaker. Cute! When I was making dolls, I accumulated a large stash of all kinds of craft items. I have 4 bead boxes full of beads but most of them are smaller seed beads. I'll have to look for some larger pretty beads at either Joanns or Michaels.

It's an antique hatpin holder. But you could put them in a salt shaker. I was looking for some big ones to make a winter scene with a small green tree like this one and of course I have so many things I'm looking for that I forgot all about it. I don't have to babysit all next week so maybe I can cross things off my list that I need to make. I can't wait for the yard sales to start. I have a whole craft room filled with stuff I seldom use. But once in awhile I so use something. Usually I can't find it so I have to go out and buy it. I was buying counted cross stitch things until I knew I wasn't going to be doing that so that's stopped. I do buy the floss whenever I find it. The things at yard sales around here are so cheap it's like they are giving it away.

Bullock, I sent you a PM. I will make an exception as you have done my swap before.

Also, I think there is a hostess lined up to carry the torch. We are just waiting for PatriceJ to give her blessings, and as soon as we hear, I will let you know. Other than that, no more hints;I love surrpises, don't you?

Those pins are pretty as can be. Thanks for posting. The cowgirl hat pincushion pattern was at www.rileyblakedesigns.com .I also thought it was adorable. Since my son was a bull rider for a couple years I thought I would try making one. It isn't to hard if your not a real beginner. Thanks for the nice words on it. Have a good sunday all. Mary
