Going for just the day is fine, but renting a private home and staying for the week is fantastic! The classes on Mon-Wed are much smaller. My extra tips for Saturday: don't try to park on the first street off the main street, but go a bit further out from the Stitching Post and from main street. You might even find a tree. Bring your snacks and lunch and don't try to eat at any of the venues--the park can be especially difficult. Use your "catalog" to decide where you "Have to go" and plan your parking and walking accordingly. I use a wheeled walker that has a seat, so I can sit down whenever I want to. Hard to maneuver in the teachers' tent and some stores, but great for stretching out your energy.

Also on the Friday before the Sisters quilt show, Black Butte Ranch has an open air show going on. It is free as well.
