Glad to hear you're getting them, Nikki! I have all 3 sizes of sets as well. I was in their store last Saturday and they said they've gotten quite a few orders from those who saw them here on the QB, so they've been shipping them all over the place.

Thanks for the great tutorial, Eddie. You made it look really easy. May just have to take a trip to Hot Springs when I next visit LR. Usually get to Hobby Lobby and forget to go other places!

question - I have a hexagon template that has from 1" to 5" templates - - - I could use that right? same concept just different template? It only cost $6.50 and I could have three sizes - 1"/3", 2"/4" and 3"/5" - - - I will try it and see what happens... THANKS for the tutorial - looks so easy to me - I can't wait to see if I can do it...

These Hickory Nuts are from my mother's quilt shop in Arkansas. I just want to express my appreciation for the excellent tutorial and the wonderful responses to the templates at our family store. I have brought them back to my friends in MT where I live, and will gladly send them to this link when they can't remember my lessons!

Tutorial was awesome. So easy to understand. Perfect pattern for scraps. I can see placemats coming to my kitchen. Actually have the striped fabric used for background. Just have to figure out how to pay the bills without working so I have more time to try all these great patterns.

Thanks for taking time to post these.
