Thanks everyone! The blocks are beautiful! I can't wait to get them together. I am in AZ and won't be home til the 19th, then will get right on those blocks. Really looking forward to working on them.

Oh wow! Thank you! It's so bright, I love it!

Y'all are making such awesome blocks.... I'm going to have to think a little more on what to make.

I finished my first one today since I had the day off and nobody at home but I've been planning since I got my packet of F8's. I knew January was going to be a wash and was kind of surprised that up till now February has been kind of miserable due to work, but I carry around a graph pad and colored pencils to see what a pattern might look like before I start cutting up. I've also got all the F8's their own manila envelope with fabrics I plan to use with them, so all I have to do is come up with a pattern and start working.

Anyway, this is my first block for Terriamn for her awesome sounding granddaughter:

I love all the blocks (especially my B/W ones tee hee)! But I have a fondness in my heart for scrappy so I am drooling over the block you made, Argentium!

Two more done tonight! I think I only have 10 more to go!
for KatsKidinWi - A 'charmed star' block from Moda Bake Shop.

For Nelco - a 'Dandy' Block. The batik was the closest fabric I could find to match your swatch, Nelda, so I hope this will work for your quilt!

And I have come to the conclusion that I prefer this type of Boom. (does that make me a bad person? LOL) With the previous boom, I tried to limit the number of seams in each block so I could iron that sucker as flat as possible for mailing. Doing everything in the flat rate envelope feels like I am not limited. I can make a block with as many seams as my imagination would like. I reserve the right to change my mind when it feels like forever before we get our squishy in the mail, but for now I am happy.
