This morning they stated the North Pole is melting and causing all our grief with the extreme weather conditions this year. Guess there is not a 'fix' and might see more weather shifts for some time. So we will have to think about how to take care of ourselves and stock up on food and fabric.

Mother nature needs to take a chill pill. It seems like the weater all over the world is extreme this year. Some places have a terrible drought others a lot of snow and ice. In our area it has been so cold we have been having major issues with water main breaks and flooding entire communities.

I am actually afraid of what kind of spring/ summer storms are we going to have.

Every one please stay safe.

I am praying for you all in the cold, wish you could be here, its 77 degrees but actually feels much hotter. Suppose to be
in the high 80's this weekend. Heard on the news we are having a mild winter, first one here so don't know exactly what that means. Stay safe, prayers for warmth from AZ.

Daisylil are you safe and well after tonight's gales. In Staffordshire we have been having Facebook reports on closed roads, including M6 due to damage in the road, services open no petrol because of damage in that area at Keele. Numerous other roads closed trees and chimneys down and Crewe railway station evacuated because roof blown off.
The wind sounded terrible so I went to sleep until it was over. Now ican sew.

We got about 3 to 4 inches of snow today. It is the first day above 0 for a while but it warmed up and brought more snow. The frost is so deep, water mains and sewers are freezing and brusting causing lots of damage. I am so ready for spring.
