    I try very hard to avoid a twistrd seam allowance. But, if I do get one, I snip each side of the seam in a different place. In other words, only one layer at a time. I think it weakens the seam leess to do it that way.

    Thanks QuiltnNan. I did not see the mistake. I will be checking all the other blocks very carefully. Can't wait to finish this one.

    I usually press towards the dark or open. One pin in the middle of the seam, and one on each side. Remove the pin in the middle. This works for either type of seam.
