    Love it, the colors and arrangement. And this is just your 1st quilt or your 1st log cabin? Either way you're doing great. I still remember my 1st attempt at making a quilt. It landed in the trash as I had no idea what I was doing and didn't realize seam allowances, sizes in triangles, etc. Just trashed it from all the screw ups. That was back in the 90's, even used the wrong kind of fabrics.............in my book as now we use all kinds of fabrics and make it work.

    At this rate, can you imagine how great your quilts will turn out in the near future? I'm assuming this won't be your one and only.

    What I love about the pattern you have chosen for your LC is that you can FMQ a beutiful design in the center. Also, you may want to consider doing "piano key" border with leftover strips. It is going to be beautiful.

    Kitty, You have started off well. I like your layout of the lights and darks. If you don't tell any one this is you first they would never know. SHHHHH I won't tell.
