I must confess that I was so thrilled when I finished the first top and took it to my LAQ I could hardly stand myself. Then when I picked it up I almost cried, just drove me more to want to create another. I will admit that on the third one was a valuable lesson. I did not measure from the top, middle and bottom when cutting the length of the border. When I took it to be top quilted it was wavy and the borders would not lay flat. Had to remove all the borders, re-measure and cut so that everything layed flat when attached. I won't do that again. I am learning by my mistakes, and I don't want my seam ripper to become my best friend. Thank you for giving me confidence. I may consider taking some better photos and forwarding on to Marti, I love the Maywood fabrics, they are such great quality.
