Starting out with a room..on a budget
Am new to this hobby but really enjoy it. When I moved for a job I found a house with three bedrooms for a reasonable price. Since its just me that means "so much more room for activities" than my old apartment. Today I got inspired after seeing all these organization ideas and being tired of working at my kitchen table. Ventured out to a nearby dollar store and thrift shop. Was able to find a desk for $10 and a few nice containers for $1 each. I dont have very much inventory yet but trust me, its coming. Anyway. Here are the before and after shots.
Note: I could not get the pic of my material stash to upload but they are sorted by color into clear plastic containers.

Oh, that's wonderful! I've been quilting/crafting for years... decades, really, lol, but don't have a dedicated room. The windows are fantastic, you will get lots of great natural light from them.
Enjoy your new home, your new hobby, and the process of getting things just the way you want.

yep won't take you long at all. Don't forget the estate sales and thrift stores for your stash. When you bring them home doesn't hurt to throw a little ammonia in with the laundry soap to remove the old perfume residue.
