Y'all are enablers! I just ordered the AnglePlay templates. Whew. That's a lot of money for some pieces of plastic, but they sure do make some perdy blocks! I struggle with angles (can't seem to line them up properly for sewing), so maybe this will be the answer.

moonrise glad I'm not the only one that wants to make these beautiful blocks, I'm just going to have to wait a tad before I can really get into them. Have several round robins going and I'm doing a border quilt on the QB for ladies wanting to learn the RR's, a quilt for quilter's and working on a "storm at sea" pattern that my hubby thinks would look great in our bedroom. I totally agree with him but it is a major pain in the a--! Got the book and the plastic though so someday....

Jaba, you definitely aren't the only one! I've been readiing this thread and looking at those blocks. They are wonderful While I'm not prepared to buy a set right now, I made one for fun. I tried the one Bluelady made for Difergie and Gaijin since the angles were simple and easy to replicate with a regular ruler. It turned out pretty nicely but the more complicated ones I'd find difficult to complete without the templates. I hope you'll post pix when you start making yours. Janice

I used the templates for borders in a couple round robins I was in. Made some pretty cool looking borders, if I do say so. ~

I know there is an angle play group on face book that could help you learn about them too. But please let me know if you have questions! I will be glad to help.
