These are the "newer ones" so they are still under $1000 usually, but the older ones can go for thousands.

wow! really?! i was following a couple of the SMs themselves and didnt know there were also treadles. thanks for the shpg cost info

and for some reason Amtrak wont allow shpg "furniture" thought I had a good idea. nope

That 2nd one is a beauty. I would be tempted if I was close enough even with the paint. And I hate stripping paint-especially off open grained woods like oak. At least it isn't that green color a lot of antique furniture got in the 40s or 50s. It looks more like the "antique" finish that was popular in the late 60s. It would be gorgeous with the paint gone though.
